I hate to mention anything about current politics on this blog, we all know there is ample wordage covering politics right now. Rather I wanted to make sure there was a link to the bailout bill as mentioned by Pelosi in yesterdays news release. Paulson’s plan, as some will call it is available for download here

I hope that works for anyone having trouble finding the download, I will be surprised if google actually finds this page, or any other with a link to the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 !! I sense subterfuge at play, I hope I am wrong about that. Still, google did not pop up the relevant link in the top ten like it usually does, In fact, last night, the press seemed to be more interested in giving their spin on the bailout package than actually providing a link so the public could actually READ IT FOR THEMSELVES. One thing I agree upon all levels of government from all parties were more than "asleep at the wheel" on this fawcet of an ongoing financial crisis that began back in the eighties, perhaps even the seventies, when energy started an upward spiral. I am certain that one term in the senate is a poor, poor, poor statement of qualification to solve what we are heading towards, In fact I doubt that many in public service have the kahuanas, let alone the mental grip required to steer the economy out of the straits our current captain has sailed us into. The sissy senators run at the mouth a lot but, in reality, have not said a single thing that can solve the crisis, short or long term. I think John has a bit of clue as to what needs to be done but I doubt he really has the stomach to do it, sure it is all well and good to say he will toss those responsible in the clink but when we look back most of the perps from enron are now flying another big green flag with a dollar sign on it. One thing is for sure, all the people who have had to face sheriffs posting foreclosure notices on their DREAM…yes they had a dream alright…now will witness the (not so much anymore) rich uncle loan the mean bastards who kicked them out money to keep their "homes" from being foreclosed on…..personally……these mortgage lenders that are about to go under to should probably be HELD UNDER!!…and I mean that in capitals!!…..real estate agents et all!!…developers, bad bankers, overpriced lumber and hardware suppliers AND MOST OF ALL SPECULATORS…from the average flipper to the king of sleaze himself, bad hair du and all!!….the way it should work!! rather than take little susie homemakers house and toss her and the kids out on the street, when the bank goes under….she should get her mortgage free and clear, fair and square!!…..after all, why should my paultry tax offerings be used to break the dreams of the people?…where was the the government of the people, by the people and for the people when the people were getting shafted by the predators???err…let me re phrase that…by the crooks…??? and now? after being shafted by the crooks and the government….nay, let me rephrase that….after being shafted by the crooks and the bigger crooks….now they are going to have to pay good old blood money for the courtesy of being shafted by the crooks and the bigger crooks……Paulson probably should resign…Pelosi should be grilled for trying to throw pork into this bill, Obama should be called on the carpet for supporting all that crap Biden should deny knowing anything about what his running mate says, said or is thinking about saying, AND someone ougta put a bunch of warrants for the wall-streeters in McCain’s hand and force him to serve em, blues and reds alike, and our good ole moose shootin mama oughta consider going postal, no let me rephrase that, consider going Cheney on….hmmm…oh yea…. Cheney !! Of course none of that solves anything. Too bad. The funny thing about the democrats (hey thats me!) (besides funky-ing up an election by taking votes instead of dollars away from us) token black (who is human, by the way) is that he keeps saying middle class, middle class, middle class, every once in a while he mentions the upper class like maybe they aren’t really human…but he never mentions us, the lower class, small business owners who really would like to make a better solar cell, fuel cell, energy cell etc. BUT it is the BIG and I mean BIG regulations that absolutely block us!! (limits on generation for a one of a million examples)…..they really do not get it. None of them. They all have real silver ware, ride around in real big and new suvs, never HAD to watch the lousy reception of over the air DTV, let alone wonder if the only bit of food they could afford from wall mart or BIG whatever mart was tainted with melamine or worse yet processed soy by product or what ever….whatever seems to the attitude anymore…lucky them we do not even have pitch forks and plowshares to beat into swords and spears anymore…if we did they would be made of polymeric plastic anyways, sort of like our food…….the president?…he should just to go back to texas and put his boots up for a while, next year he can fret if the senate has enough to kahuanas to gather up a pose for a little late tar and a featherin’. But I doubt he would have to fret to darn much, I figure about the only pose the sissy senators are gonna be able to raise ain’t gonna amount to much more than the village people…in drag at that…..might as well bail-em out, er I guess that is bail out each other huh?…but if they could do me one favor, ask the Saudis for some money first, and see if they can stick to that belief they have about not charging interest, aw hell, part of this is their fault…just get tough with em, tell em the truth, shakedown time, pay us the protection money the owe us for letting them rip us off, and send a couple of comando drilling teams into russia’s neighbors with instructions on how to drill sideways!!….we don’t need no self awareness time, we know who we are, and if they don’t know who we are maybe we oughta give all a little reminder…eh? just kidding folks that won’t solve anything either….besides, nobody but Putin has the kahaunas anymore. And that is worrisome, after all he is just another little guy.
